PALESTINIAN RUN OVER AND KILLED BY ISRAELI SETTLER

West Bank, 2 Jumadil Awal 1435/3 March 2014 (MINA) – Saleh Mlihat,70, was killed on Sunday after being run over by an Israeli colonial settler near the West Bank city of Ramallah.

Mosa Mlihat said that his father was run over during crossing the main street and transferred to hospital immediately. However, Saleh died before reaching hospital, Palestine’s AlRay reported as quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA).

Local sources said that a settler, driving too fast, ran over Saleh Mlihat throwing him to 80 meters away.

Related to the news, at least 30 Israeli extremist settlers headed by Rabbi Yehuda Glick stormed al-Aqsa mosque on Sunday morning, escorted by the Israeli occupation police.

Media coordinator for al-Aqsa Foundation for Waqf and Heritage Mahmoud Abu al-Atta told ALRAY that they attacked al-Aqsa in two groups from Magharba gate and toured its courtyards.

He said, “during the tour, a number of Israeli rabbis explained to the settlers the history of the alleged “Temple Mount” and the features of its claimed presence.”

Hundreds of students of the Qur’an circles and students of al-Quds schools thwarted the attack, raising slogans in solidarity with al-Aqsa, and expressing their rejection to the continuous Israeli colonial violations against al-Aqsa mosque, Abu al-Atta pointed out.

The Israeli police imposed restrictions on the entry of worshipers to al-Aqsa mosque.
