Ankara, MINA – The United Nation Resident Coordinator for Palestinian Territory, Jamie McGoldrick said Palestine need investment in education. It is important so that the young generation has the ability to overcome challenges.

“Youth in Palestine face huge challenges. Life under military occupation, high poverty rates, shrinking economic opportunities, and an uncertain future. Everything leads to worrying feelings of hopelessness,” McGoldrick said on Monday in commemoration of International Youth Day, Anadolu Agency reported.

According to him, the young generation of Palestinians has creativity, potential, and capacity to change into better individuals.

“With the right opportunities, they can be the driver to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and the UN development agenda in 2030,” he said.
