JIHAD ISLAM FIGURE CALLS FOR EGYPT-GAZA RECONCILIATION

Gaza, 19 Jumadil Awwal 1435/20 March 2014 (MINA) – Senior figure of an Islamic resistance movement in Gaza calls  for Gazan factions and the Egyptian government to  reconcile despite recent feud.

“I personally hope that intellectuals participated to neutralize the problems between  the government in Egypt and Gaza,  I also believe that  the two parties are affected by the stirring up of Shaytan whispering,” Samih Hajjaj  told Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA)’s correspondet in Gaza Strip, Wednesday (19/3).

Samih who is also an influential mufti of Gaza appreciate Egypt saying that  the country  has been committed to helping the Palestinians issue for a long time ago.

“We know that Egypt is a great country in which Arabs and Muslims are waiting for their goodness and benefit.  Since along time ago, Egyptian issues is Palestine’s  as well, and this relation will continue as longer as it can, “he said.

Although there were ups and downs in our relations, Samih revealed that  Egypt  is Gazan brother  as Muslim, so no one can separate us.

“As we know that Egypt is a great country and our brother country, which contributes much to the Palestinians,” he said.

Samih also expressed his hope that Muslims not be deluded at the instigation of demons who want to divide Muslims at any aspects. According to him the unity of all Muslims in the world is enough to  stand and set Al-Aqsa Mosque free from Judaization of Zionism and the people of Gaza have suffered enough from Israel’s blockade and its attacks over the years. (L/P03/E01)
