JAMAAH MUSLIMIN URGES ISRAEL TO HAND OVER AL AQSA TO MUSLIMS
Jakarta, 13 Safar 1436/6 December 2014 (MINA) – Jamaah Muslimin (Hizbullah), a Muslims unity forum based in Jakarta, Indonesia, urged Israel to immediately hand over al-Aqsa mosque to Muslims.
Imaam of Jamaah Muslimin (Hizbullah) Sheikh Muhyiddin Hamidy said that it was also part of support for Jordan Ambassador to United Nations (UN) efforts, Dina Kawar, who lately submitted Palestinian independence bid to the international body.
“The rejection of the resolution means letting the tyranny and killing exsist in this world,” Hamidy said in a press conference, Saturday.
The Jordan effort should be fully supported throughout the country in the world, he added, especially the Muslim majority countries.
Jamaah Muslimin (Hizbullah) on behalf of Muslims all over the world also urged the abolition of the veto in UN as it shows ‘colonialism’ and ‘occupation’ in the body.
“We are ready to send a delegation to UN General Assembly, and we want to address this issue,” Hamidy stressed.
He added, it’s world community’s turn to open eyes on ongoing colonization in the occupied land that clearly opposed by the UN’s Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
Especially for Indonesia, which is in the opening of its 1945 Constitution stated that freedom is the right of all nations and therefore the occupation on this world must be abolished because it does not comply with humanity and justice.
“For Muslims, the occupation on Palestine is clearly tarnish the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque as the first Qibla of Muslims, where the Ascension of the Prophet Muhammad Sallallaahu ‘alahi Wasallam,” Hamidy added.
Muslims have the right and freedom to worship fully in the the holy mosque without any interference from other parties.
Hamidy called on leaders of Arab countries, Islamic organizations, and elements of Muslims to unite to realize the freedom of Palestine and liberate the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
“We remind all Muslims around the world to band together, tighten our brotherhood (ukhuwah Islamiyah) and mobilize all supports for Palestinian independence and liberation of Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Israeli occupation,” he said. (L/R03/R04).
