Jama'ah Muslimin (Hizbullah) Calls On Global Muslim to Fight for Jerusalem

Jakarta, MINA – US President Donald Trump recognition on Jerusalem as Israel’s capital has sparked outraged globally since the announcement on Wednesday. Muslim leaders condemned the act, calling it a violation of international law and diplomatic norms.

Muslim arround the world poured the streets and headed to US embassy representative offices in their countries and chanted anti Trump slogan as well as burning his poster since Thursday. While Palestine’s leaders called for “new intifada” in the holy land on Friday, refers to the escalation fighting in the area. In Indonesia and Malaysia, thousands will hold rally in front of US embassies on Friday afternoon to protest the decision.

Jamaah Muslimin (Hizbullah) as a forum for unity of Muslims globally stated the Trump decision has destroyed peace in the middle east, calling on all citizens of the world to reject and jointly protect Jerusalem from imperialism forces that impose the will to completely control the holy land illegally.

The Jakarta-based forum also called on Islamic world, especially the Arab States to never detract the focus of attention to Jerusalem’s exsistence. Arab States have to continuesly protect and realize the true peace in Jerusalem, Palestine and the entire Middle East region like the old time.

It also stated appreciation to the Government of the Republic of Indonesia for consistently supporting Palestinians struggle, including the support of protecting Jerusalem from any tyranny and colonization that is contrary to humanity and justice.

On US Embassy’s Removal Plan to Jerusalem

Regarding to the statement of US President Donald Trump to move US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, hereby Jama’ah Muslimin (Hizbullah) states:

1. The statement of US President Donald Trump means an official recognition that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel. So far Jerusalem, especially East Jerusalem is still under the protection of International Law and is not part of Israel. Thus, Trump’s plan is violating International Law and destroying peace process in the Middle East.

2. Jama’ah Muslimin (Hizbullah) calls on all citizens of the world to reject it and joinly protect Jerusalem from imperialism forces that impose the will to fully control the holy land illegally.

3. Jama’ah Muslimin (Hizbullah) calls on Muslim world, especially the Arab States to never reduced the focus of attention to Jerusalem’s salvation. Arab States have to continuesly protect it and realize the true peace in Jerusalem, Palestine and the entire Middle East region.

4. We call on Muslims all around the world to seriously manage the issues of Jerusalem for the holy mosque al Aqsa is situated. Muslims have to unite to mobilize forces based on the guidance of Allah and avoiding divisions that can lead to greater slander and destruction on earth.
5. We appreciate the Government of the Republic of Indonesia to consistently support Palestinians struggle, including in protecting Jerusalem from any form of tyranny and colonization that is contrary to humanity and justice.
6. We pray that Allah the Almighty will protect Jerusalem, al Aqsa Mosque and Muslims all around the world from any tyranny that is contrary to the teachings of Islam which urges to manifest peace in the universe.
