ISRAELIS COMPLETE PREPARATIONS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF ALLEGED TEMPLE

Al-Quds (Jerusalem), 20 Rabiul Awwal 1434/01 February 2013 (MINA) – Researcher Amr Jamal said that the movie, published by Israeli Foreign Ministry and which shows the demolition of the Dome of the Rock and the establishment of the alleged Temple on its ruins, reflects the practical steps applied on the ground to achieve this purpose.

The Palestinian researcher specialized in Jerusalem affairs told Quds Press that the occupation authorities had completed the preparation of all architectural plans for the construction of the alleged Temple, according to a report published in www.qudsmedia.com monitored by Mi’raj News Agency (MINA), Friday.

In a film that was produced by the Israeli Foreign Ministry, and was banned from being officially published, Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister, Danny Ayalon, is seen standing and speaking in various areas of Jerusalem, including in front of the Dome Of The Rock, where in the film, it disappears and is replaced by Jewish temple.

The film, “The Fact About Jerusalem”, is meant from Israeli point view to encourage tourism and portray harmony, but at the same time is meant to show the sole Jewish history of the holy city, while Ayalon also claims that the film “is about freedom of religion of the three faiths – Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

Al-Aqsa Foundation for Waqf and Heritage warned that the settlers and Jewish groups who storm Al-Aqsa Mosque have recently started focusing during their raids on the Islamic Museum chapel and the Eastern wall, especially in the area of Bab al-Rahma.

The Aqsa foundation noted that right-wing Knesset member Moshe Feiglin, from Likud Beiteinu alliance, defiled today along with 30 settlers the Aqsa Mosque.

The foundation urged the Muslim nation to rise up and hasten to save the Aqsa Mosque before it is too late.

Sheikh Raed Salah, head of the Islamic Movement in the Palestinian territories, had earlier warned of the occupation scheme to transform the Islamic Museum chapel into a synagogue.

For its part, the Foundation for Construction of al-Aqsa and Holy Sites warned that the occupation is trying to impose the division of Al-Aqsa Mosque using its weapons as well as the break-ins of settlers and Jewish groups, and asserted that the worshipers’ steadfastness will remain the best way to confront such dangerous plots.

For his part, the Jerusalemite MP Mohammed Abu Teir considered that the production of a film showing the demolition of the Dome of the Rock and the establishment of the alleged Temple “is part of a systematic and ongoing plan targeting the holy sites in the occupied city of Jerusalem, and especially Al-Aqsa Mosque.”

The Palestinian MP deported to Ramallah said in a statement on Wednesday that any Israeli procedure against Al-Aqsa Mosque will be the beginning of the end for the occupation state, as he said.

He also appealed to “all those who are able to reach the city of Jerusalem to flock to al-Aqsa mosque and confront any attack targeting it.” (T/P02/E1)
