ISRAELI OFFICERS BEAT HIS SOLDIERS TILL UNCONCIOUS IN GAZA WAR

Gaza, 10 Dzulqa’dah 1435/5 September 2014 (MINA) – Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) revealed on Wednesday that an officer beat his subordinate till unconscious. The subordinate suffered bruises on his face and all over her body. It was because he forgot bringing the bulletproof vest while in Gaza border.

The victim suffered a lot of bruises and acute headaches after the incident. The incident occurred in Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) vehicle, the victim said. The officer hit his body, back and head repeatedly. He was evacuated from the Gaza border to the medical center of Barzilai in Ashkelon.

Results of psychological evaluation stated that the soldier suffered trauma mentally from the incident. The doctor recommended him to keep his distance with his commander.

The victim added that his commander wake him up by jumping on his back and then hit him. He grabbed, ripped and threw his shirt on the wall of APC.

“I tred to escape but he continued beating me until I lost consciousness and then I was evacuated by ambulance to a military hospital,” he explained.

Israeli military sources said that the soldier was under care of a professional mental health for receiving appropriate treatment. Israeli military police are investigating the incident.

Meanwhile, the lawyer of the victim totally could not accept if officer beat a soldier and then returned him to the same place.

The internal incidence in the Israeli occupation force often happened. Many soldiers suffered stress because of “forced” to go to war on Gaza. According to reports, many soldiers shot themselves in order not to be sent to the war in Gaza.

Israeli soldiers who were injured in Gaza war experienced stress and nightmares. Team mental rehabilitation placed them in a special treatment and kept them away from the crowd due to often screaming for no reason.
