Gaza, 17 Jumadil Akhir 1438/16 March 2017 (MINA) – Israeli warplanes launched airstrikes on several targets to Palestinian factions in Gaza strip Wednesday midnight.

The fighter jets hit Palestinian military target in the central city of Dair Al-Balah.

The strikes caused material damage to the site buildings and panic among local population in the surrounding area, eyewitnesses told KUNA.

The Israeli aircraft also launched a number of airstrikes in open areas eastern the densely-populated Palestinian territory, locals said. The warplanes are still roaring across the skies over the enclave.

Earlier, a rocket fired from Gaza landed in an Israeli settlement neighboring Gaza strip without causing human or material damage. (T/RS5/RS1)
