The Dahmash neighborhood shelters about 700 Palestinians, and its case dates back to the Palestinian Nakba (catastrophe ) in 1948, when the Zionist forces forcefully displaced over 800 thousand Palestinians from their homes.

Last Tuesday, IOF demolished two buildings, which contained two housing units and two commercial shops in the town of Silwan, East Jerusalem. The demolition was an order from the Jerusalem municipality, under the pretext that they were built without a permit.(T/P008/R03)
