Imaam of Muslim Delivers Speech in Thailand’s Pattani

Yala, 14 Jumadil Akhir 1438/13 March 2017 (MINA) –  A leader of congregations who reviving the caliphate life called Jamaatul Muslimin delivered speech about the condition on Muslim in Indonesia nowadays in the front of Council of Islamic  Yala province, Pattani, Thailand.

The Imaam  (leader) namely Yakhsyallah Mansur  stressed out that Indonesian, despite its internal conflicts, remains stabil and uphold tolerance on daily basis.

“Indonesia is well known as the Muslim majority country always co-exist despite their different religions,”  said Yakhsyallah.

The contributor of Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) reported the speech was made during an annual event on commemoration of the birth of Prophet Muhammad Sallallaahu ‘alaihi Wasallam. The event  attended by 2,500 scholars on Sunday night at the the Great Mosque of Islamic province of Yala.

Taking the theme  “Today’s development of Islamic World”, Yakhsyallah also recalled Islam entered Indonesia without any battle, by good manners as exemplified by the Prophet thousands of years ago.

The Imaam who also a founder of Al-Fatah foundation explained, the co-existing of Islam and other religions in Indonesia is proof that Islam gives mercy to the world.

Meanwhile, the Advisory Council of Yala Scholar, Abdullah Abubakar, reminded Muslims to continue to enforce unity among Muslims by strengthening brotherhood to seek the glory of Allah.

“If we are looking for other than the glory of God, then it will get a humiliation,” he said.

In the event, Imaam Yakhsyallah also discussed the condition of Muslims in the ASEAN countries, particularly on the Rohingya. (L/P3/P2/RE)
