British FM Congratulates Muslims on Impending Eid Al-Adha

London 09 Dzulhijjah 1437/11 September 2016 (MINA) – British Foreign Minister Boris Johnson on Saturday congratulated Muslims worldwide on the advent of Eid Al-Adha (Festival of Sacrifice), which falls on Monday.

Johnson wished Muslims a gleeful Eid, as such occasions herald joyous gatherings and celebrations. KUNA reported, quoting a statement.

Moreover, the British Foreign Minister said that the United Kingdom is appreciative of contributions by the Muslim community, in a nation home to diverse ethnicities and backgrounds.

He also highlighted the need of diligent work to ensure peace and prosperity in Muslim nations, naming Syria and Yemen in particular. (T/R07/R01)
