Arrive in Cyprus, TNI Task Force Welcomed by German Navy

Limasol, MINA – Military Task Force (MTF) the Indonesia National Army (TNI) Garuda (Konga) Contingent XXVIII-K The United Nations Interim Forces in Lebanon (UNIFIL) was welcomed by the German Navy joined in the Staff Commander Task Group (CTG) 448.03 Maritime UNIFIL’s Task Force (MTF) stopped at Limasol naval base, Cyprus, recently.

The arrival of the TNI MTG Konga Task Force led by the Commander of Marine Lt. Colonel, Cecep Hidayat using KRI Sultan Hasanuddin-366. They are received by CTG Commander 448.03 Commander Torsten Eidam accompanied by Chief Of Staff Lieutenant Commander, Christoph Ploss and Indonesian Defense Attache for Indonesian Embassy Rome Colonel Sea, Wachyad.

From the information released by TNI on Tuesday, Cecep Hidayat thanked him for the warm welcome given by German Navy and hoped the relationship could be better established in the future.

According to Cecep, solidarity and showing mutual respect and cooperation between I Konga carried out various activities, including sports together with the German Navy, Openship KRI Sultan Hasanuddin-366 and a visit to German camp CTG 448.03. (T/Sj/P2)
