Sana’a, MINA – Ansarallah announced missile strikes on Saudi targets and territorial gains on Tuesday, while Saudi airstrikes killed seven people in northern Yemen.

The Yemeni Armed Forces, affiliated with the Ansarallah movement, targeted Saudi-affiliated military gatherings at Al-Dagharir camp in Saudi Arabia’s Jizan region with ballistic missiles on Tuesday, military spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree announced.

Saree said the missiles scored precise hits and caused deaths and injuries among Saudi forces inside the camp, Al Mayadeen reported.

In a separate announcement, he said a ballistic missile struck Abha International Airport, describing the hit as precise. Following the airport strike, Ansarallah renewed its warning to international airlines against continuing flights in Saudi airspace.

Earlier Tuesday, Saree announced that more than 200 Saudi-affiliated personnel had been killed or injured in strikes targeting their movements in the Ras al-‘Ara and Suqya areas during the preceding hours.

He also reported strikes on additional military gatherings east of Al-Jawf Governorate and east of Ragwan in Marib Governorate. According to his statement, those operations caused further deaths and injuries and set several vehicles on fire.

Ansarallah established full control over Mount Matran in the as-Silw district, south of Taiz Governorate, a Yemeni military source told Saba News Agency. The source said Saudi-backed forces had been expelled from the entire district and that a large quantity of military equipment had been seized. The commander of the Saudi-backed 35th Armored Brigade was killed during fighting on Mount Matran, according to the source.

Saree said operations against Saudi-affiliated military gatherings were continuing in the remaining districts of Taiz. He reported confusion among those forces and said some personnel had fled.
