ISESCO TO ORGANIZE TRAINING SESSION ON TEACHING ARABIC IN OSLO
Rabat, 25 Dzulqa’dah 1436/9 September 2015 (MINA) – The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) will organize, jointly with the Granada foundation for publication and educational services and the Muslim Society in Norway, a training session in Oslo from September10 to 13 .
The sub regional session’s theme is “For the Optimal Use of the School Book and Digital Media in Arabic Language Teaching in Scandinavia,” Islamic International News Agency (IINA) quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.
Organizing this session falls within the framework of activating the ISESCO strategy for Islamic cultural action for the benefit of Muslims in non-Islamic countries.
It also comes in the context of the ISESCO’s efforts to coordinate the Islamic educational work among the educational institutions, cultural centers and training bodies outside the Muslim world, in an attempt to improve the educational performance of those working in the field of Arabic language teaching to non-Arabic speakers.
Participants in the training session include more than 40 officials, directors of institutions, educational supervisors and teachers of Arabic language in Norway, Denmark, Sweden, and Finland.(T/R05/R03)
