RETURN AL AQSA TO MUSLIMS
Tasikmalaya, West Java, 15 Rabi ‘al-Awwal 1434/28 January 2013 (MINA) – The Coordinator of West Java Aqsa Working Group (AWG), Ustad Rahmat Baequni stated in his speech at the peak of the Love Al-Aqsa March (GJCA) that GJCA is a form of seriousness in carrying out jihad to liberate Al-Aqsa Mosque and return it to the Muslims, according to a report from Mi’raj News Agency (MINA) correspondent in Tasikmalaya, West Java, on Saturday (26/1).
“The long march we do is meaningfull. This is our action to prove that we are ready to struggle to return Al Aqsa into Muslims. We will keep this struggle until Allah ordaines it to us”, said Baequni to Miraj News Agency (MINA)’s reporter.
Baequni also emphasized the importance of liberating Palestine from the occupation of Zionist Israel.
“Allah is our witness. We say emphatically through our belief, we must think and fight for the liberation of Al-Aqsa Mosque from the hands of the Zionists,” said Baequni in front of thousands Muslims from all over Indonesia who packed the courtyard of Masjid Agung Tasikmalaya under the blazing sun.
Baequni explained that Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala has ordered the Prophet Muhammad p.b.u.h to pray facing Al-Aqsa Mosque for 16 to 17 months. The Prophet with his companions consistently implement the command from Allah SWT. Their struggle faced full of obstacles and barriers. They were reviled or ridiculed by the Jews in Medina.
“Those were a test of Allah to strengthen their faith to bring human civilization in the highest supremacy as a Caliphate,” said Baequni
Baequni urge all Muslims to keep fighting to liberate Al-Aqsa Mosque as the first qibla of Muslims. “Will it (Al Aqsa) go away as the pages of history in vain without any effort?” asked Baequni.
Aqsa Working Group (AWG) cooperated with Medical Emergency Rescue Committee (MER-C), Miraj News Agency (MINA), and other Islamic organizations held this long march which named Gerak Jalan Cinta Aqsa (GJCA) covering a distant around 19 kilometers.
GJCA were attended by thousands of participants from all parts of Indonesia, began on Saturday morning and concluded with delivery speeches on Sunday afternoon.
GJCA is a form of follow up of International Conference for the freedom of Palestine and liberation of Al Aqsa which was held in Bandung, last year attended by participants from 20 countries of all continents. (T/P-25/R-006)
