ZIONIST SETTLERS STORM AL-AQSA YARDS
Al-Quds (Jerussalem), 27 Shafar 1435/30 December 2013 (MINA) – Several groups of Israeli occupation settlers led by the extremist Jewish Rabbi Yehuda Glick, stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque on Sunday morning , and toured its courtyards.
Witnesses said that more than Zionist 25 settlers, led by the radical Yehuda Glick, raided the mosque and broke to the mosque through the Mughrabi Gate.
There, they wandered around the mosque backed-up and protected by the Israeli police, ALRAY, Palestinian Media Agency quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.
The researcher in Jerusalem affairs Jamal Amro said that Glick, who provided the settlers with explanations about the alleged temple, was holding a book with photos and maps of the alleged temple and some of the pictures were referring to the Dome of the Rock.
Amro mentioned that hundreds of Palestinian students were at the courtyards of the Mosque despite of rain and cold weather.
Meanwhile, The Israeli occupation police intensified its security measures on the entry of Palestinian worshipers to the Mosque.
Palestinian students resisted them by chanting Islamic slogans.
According to witnesses, the Israeli police denied worshipers and students access to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and took their identity cards.
He called all Palestinian movements, institutions and figures to increase their presence in al-Aqsa Mosque, to confront the colonial settlers’ raids. (T/P02/E1)
