West Bank, MINA – Israeli occupation forces raided several cities, towns, and villages across the West Bank and Jerusalem overnight and early Friday, arresting a number of Palestinians and searching homes and residential buildings, the Palestinian Information Center reports.
The raids coincided with settler attacks on Palestinian homes, most notably in the village of Awarta, south of Nablus.
In Nablus, the Israeli forces attacked Palestinian homes in Awarta, opened live fire, and damaged residents’ vehicles. Settlers also held three young men inside a tent they had erected near the village and abducted a 17-year-old boy during the attack, while Israeli forces simultaneously raided the village.
Israeli occupation forces also broke into Nablus through the Huwwara checkpoint and raided a residential building in the northern mountain area.

They also stormed the village of Burqa, northwest of Nablus, where they searched several homes and arrested three Palestinians.
The raids also extended to Beit Furik, east of Nablus, and Asira al-Qibliya, south of the city. In the area surrounding Iraq Burin, south of Nablus, settlers attacked a Palestinian home.
In Jenin, Israeli troops raided the town of al-Zababdeh, south of the city, and arrested a young man. The forces also stormed the town of Meithalun and detained a number of Palestinian workers during a raid on the village of Barta’a, southwest of Jenin.
In Tulkarem, Israeli forces detained several young men after raiding a café in the city’s eastern neighborhood and also broke into the town of Anabta, east of the city. In Qalqilya, Israeli forces raided the town of Jayyus, northeast of the city.

In the Ramallah and al-Bireh governorate, Israeli forces raided the town of Beit Rima and opened heavy live fire. Confrontations erupted during a raid on Qarawat Bani Zeid, northwest of Ramallah, while Israeli forces also stormed the villages of Kafr Ein and Surda.
In the village of Burqa, east of Ramallah, settlers attacked a Palestinian home, while Israeli soldiers raided the village at the same time. Israeli forces also raided the al-Irsal neighborhood of Ramallah and searched a residential building in the al-Masayef neighborhood of al-Bireh.
In Occupied Jerusalem, Israeli police raided the Ras Khamis neighborhood of the Shuafat refugee camp, north of the city. They also entered Abu Dis, southeast of Occupied Jerusalem, where they fired stun grenades and tear gas. In al-Khalil, Israeli soldiers raided the village of al-Tabaqa, south of Dura. They also searched several homes during a raid on the city and fired stun grenades.[]
