Washington, MINA – The United States Department of State, through its Rewards for Justice Program, has announced a monetary reward for anyone who can provide information leading to the identification or location of senior leaders of the Islamic Republic of Iran, including Mojtaba Khamenei.

The reward offered reaches US$10 million  for any information proven to assist the search effort.

The individuals in question include names on a list of senior intelligence and security officials linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

The US considers these individuals to play a central role in Iran’s strategic decision-making and military operations in the region, including those related to military conflicts involving the United States and its allies, as well as the IRGC’s involvement in programs viewed as threatening regional security.

Such reward programs are not new for the US State Department. Through the Rewards for Justice initiative, the US government has previously offered similar rewards in operations targeting other cases, including efforts to obtain information on terrorist networks or individuals listed as wanted.

The announcement of this reward comes amid rising tensions in the Middle East following joint military operations by the United States and Israel, as well as retaliatory attacks by Iran involving missiles and drones that have crossed various parts of the region.

The situation has complicated intelligence efforts and raised concerns about the possibility of a broader conflict.

Analysts say the move reflects an escalation in pressure strategies targeting Iran’s leadership structure, while also indicating that the US is relying on a combination of diplomatic and intelligence approaches to deal with the increasingly complex dynamics of conflict in the region.[]
