Gaza, MINA – Instagram has deleted the verified account of the slain Gaza journalist, Saleh al-Jafarawi, who had 4.5 million followers, Quds News Network (QNN) reported on Monday.
Archival photos of his page on the Wayback Machine, the largest public internet archive, also appear to have been deleted or disabled, raising concerns about the digital erasure of Palestinian documentation.
Al-Jafarawi, known for his front-line coverage of the Gaza genocide, had previously faced repeated censorship.
He was killed in Gaza on Sunday by armed groups cooperating with Israel.
