Gaza, MINA – An Israeli occupation airstrike early Monday targeted a school in the al-Daraj neighborhood of Gaza City, killing at least 25 Palestinians and injuring many more, according to Palestinian media reports, Anadolu Agency reported.
The strike hit the Fahmi al-Jarjawi School, where numerous families had sought refuge from ongoing Israeli bombardments. Al-Aqsa TV and other local outlets described the attack as a “massacre,” with scenes of horror unfolding as fire engulfed makeshift tents.
Eyewitness footage circulating online captured the aftermath, charred bodies, many of them children, and the anguished cries of survivors surrounded by flames.
“Charred corpses and the screams of displaced people engulfed in flames were seen and heard from the site,” one local report said.
