Ramallah, MINA – Palestinian national and Islamic factions called for a large-scale participation in the events of the 70th anniversary of the Palestinian Nakbah Day slated to be held in occupied Palestinian territories and across the world.

In a statement on Monday, the factions pointed out that the events are going to peak on May 13-15, PIC reported.

The commemoration of the Nakba Day aims at stressing the adherence to the Palestinians’ right of return and at protesting the US decision to move the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Occupied Jerusalem.

The statement also highlighted the importance of offering international protection for the Palestinian people against the Israeli ceaseless crimes.(R/R04/RS5)
