10,000 People Visist Riau Agro Exhibition

Pekanbaru, 29 Rajab 1437/7 May 2016 (MINA) – – As much as 10,000 people visited the An-Nur Agro Exhibition 2016 held in the city of Pekanbaru involving dozens of farm activists from across the Riau province.

“Since it was opened by the Governor of Riau, Arsyadjuliandi Rachman yesterday, visitors continue to increase. For two days, it was recorded 10,000 people have visited this event every day,” said the Chairman Tengku Arif, Pekanbaru, Saturday. Antara reported quoted by MINA.

He predicted that number will continue to rise on Sunday because it coincides with the last day of a series of long holiday weekend.

He said people can still enjoy agrotourism exhibition held in the courtyard of the Great Mosque of An-Nur on Jalan Hang Tuah, Pekanbaru until 15 May 2016. For that, he dared to target until the end of the exhibition, there will be 100,000 visitors who will visit the event.

Furthermore, he elaborated that there are a total of 81 huts which 38 of them are show a variety of agricultural products.

“The agricultural products ranging from horticulture to estates as well as organic fertilizer. One of the flagship product is Tea Bawang Dayak that are very good for the body and health,” he explained.

Besides farm products, visitors can also visit huts which sells a variety of culinary healthy which is derived from agricultural products. There are mushrooms “Crispy”and tea Bawang Dayak that can be tried there,” he explained.

To face the holy month of Ramadan, visitors can choose a variety of Muslim clothing that also provided at the location.

Besides the exhibition OF agrotourism, Tengku also said that the event was enlivened with a “talk show” related to the cultivation of plants, the “juice day”, auction markets and other events. Everything can be followed free of charge. (LP/R03/R04)
