‘ZIONISTS PULLING STRINGS OF UK GOVT.’

London, 23 Rabi’ul Akhir 1436/13 February 2015 (MINA) – British activists have sounded the alarm as anti-Muslims sentiments are gaining momentum in UK. They blame London for not taking serious the horrible trend saying Zionist lobbies are pulling the strings of policy makers in UK.

“Something needs to be changed, but it is difficult because we know that Zionist lobbies are very powerful in government,” Founder of Ministry of Peace James Thring said, Press Tv quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.

He also called on the policy makers in London to step up their efforts to protect the lives of Muslim citizens across the UK saying:”They should really pass a law just as they have done with the Jewish community to make it a criminal offense to incite hatred against Muslims. In a sense, there is already a law but it is not so specific enough.”

Thring referred to the terrorist attacks in France noting that there is a movement in mainstream media or some political circles which are aimed at sparking Islamophobic sentiments across UK.

The British activist said the artificial gap between Muslims and the West need to be bridged soon noting this goal would not be achieved unless there are concrete changes to the foreign policies of western countries including UK towards Islamic world.

“They could change the policy towards the Middle East in general and the Islamic world in general by not continuing to bomb Muslim cities and poor countries like Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and Syria. This will be a major improvement in general public attitude towards Islam and of course it would be better from the Islamic point of view they wouldn’t then be easily targeted,” he concluded.
