WEST BANK AND GAZA ARE ONE: HANIYEH

Gaza, 23 Jumadil Awwal 1435/24 March 2014 (MINA) –  Gazan Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh said that Palestinian whether in West Bank and Gaza Strip are one despite Israeli occupation plans to divide the territories.

“Today we also want to deliver a message to our brothers in the West Bank, that we are all with you and will never leave you. Our battle is one, our enemy is one  and our pain is one, ” Haniyeh said  during his speech of Martyrs Memorial at Saraya field in Gaza Strip, Sunday (23/3).

In front of thousands of Palestinians who attended the event, Haniyeh stressed the bond that binds both parties will remain strong towards Palestine’s independent, adding that the last incident at Jenin camps proved Palestinian unity.

Several days ago, Israeli forces attacked Jenin camp in West Bank and shot a member of Hamas military wing al Qassam Brigades, and other member of  Islamic Jihad and Fatah military wing Al-Quds Brigades  who then martyred.

“What happened in Jenin yesterday affirmed that the Palestinian people can only be united with resistance, not by negotiations,” Haniyeh said, as Israeli continues its violation against  recent US-mediated negotiation with Palestinian Authority in Ramallah.

Haniyeh, accompanied by his bodyguards say this is a reality that happens in Palestine that must continue to fight for its independence, united nation in resistance, and in the fight against the invaders.

At the occasion, Haniyeh also flatter the Palestinian martyrs who have sacrificed their blood for the liberation of Al-Quds and Palestine.  Especially for the Hamas pioneers, Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, who died in 2004 in a planned murder plot after the dawn prayer by the Israeli occupation forces.
