UAE – Indonesia Has Same Experience in Religious Tolerance

Jakarta, MINA – Media Attache of the United Arab Emirates Embassy (UAE) for Indonesia, Abdullah Ubaid Al Kaabi said the UAE and Indonesia had the same experience in terms of religious tolerance.

“We (the UAE-Indonesia) want to promote tolerance to the world,” Abdullah said during a luncheon with media leaders at the UAE Embassy, ​​Jakarta, Wednesday.

He explained, as the Pope’s visit to the UAE which had just taken place was a history, the visit was also a symbol of peace between religious communities because the UAE consisted of various religions and tribes, the UAE also had diversity as in Indonesia.

On this occasion Abdullah said he expressed his gratitude to the media who covered the UAE national day event in December.
