Seoul, MINA – Hundreds of South Korean activists staged a solidarity action for Palestine in central Seoul on Saturday. They held a die-in protest, lying in rows on the street near the Israeli Embassy as a symbol of the victims of the war in Gaza.

The action was part of a movement condemning three years of attacks and the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Participants carried attributes of support for Palestine and called for an end to the attacks on Palestinians, Yonhap reported.

After the action around the Israeli Embassy, the demonstrators continued a long march through several areas of central Seoul, including the Bosingak Bell Pavilion area. They then gathered around the United States Embassy.

During the action, participants condemned US military and diplomatic support for Israel. They also called for an immediate ceasefire and urged the South Korean government to stop investing in Israeli bonds.
