Riyadh, MINA – Saudi Arabia’s Directorate General of Passports (Jawazat) stated that a visit visa to the country can be extended seven days before its expiration date provided that it has valid health insurance.
“Visitor visas for individuals can be renewed through the host’s account on the Absher platform, seven days prior to expiration,” Jawazat said in a statement said, Saudi Gazette reported on Saturday.
Jawazat explained that the instruction requires that the total extension of the visit visa should not exceed 180 days.
A fine for delaying the extension of the visit visa will be imposed if three days have elapsed from the expiration date.
