Respecting Peace and Sustainable Environment with Moderation

It is a part of miracle of Almighty God creating universe on many form of living things, landscapes, climates, and other His creation (seen and unseen). The miracle that sometimes hide in silence and modesty. Silence and modesty store many specialties and uniqueness. These characters are inherited and described in any kind of God Almighty creation that deserved to be maintained by open society for benefit of all living things.

The World since be created requests the attention of human being to be  aware of this critical message. It is reflected
many devastated challenging over the0l years. Even today the world has been threatened by great wars that endanger living things and  biodiversity with their natural beauty including unexplored and explored exotic flora and fauna living and growing in the surface of the world.

They are  living side by side with the local lives in many aspects ranging from domestic to industrial affairs. How important of these things are found in the Holy Book that brought by God’s Messenger to the Universe.

The specialties of this biodiversity also offers  cures that are being needed for living things. The flows of air with sufficient light of sun and modest air in its period contributes to the natural refreshment and healing character of air filtering poisonous substances that may endanger breath system of human breath organ and skin.

These clues then are referred by any other scientists and other stakeholders to explore more. It is also suggested by scientist to take a breath in the morning usually ba’da (after) Shubuh and take a bath before Shubuh for strengthening body immunity.

Living in such a beautiful and full of bless of the world is a barokah for all living things. Therefore it deserves to be thanked for mutual benefit  among living things. This pattern of life should be preserved. The natural beauty of such areas in the world  has attracted many peoples from all over the world to visit and explored the areas. It may make the visited areas  become a melting pot of cultures and traditions. In these situation, full and variety of civilization may also be established.

The interaction may bring good example to each other and throw away egoistic elements that may naturally exist. The way they develop will support  tranquility and tolerance for all living things. It will also form unity with its diversity. At the same time it may raise contradiction that  may affect natural and originality of region. Human race vis a vis sustainability or even peace are threatened.

The above  race interaction  challenges noble values and local wisdom that may exist in the region. But, then unsustainable way of life will end with the emergence of consciousness on how important to live side by side or in harmony. The sustainability aspects are very strong asset  in protecting human dignity and sustainable environment. These aspects were deserved to be celebrated by all living things. It needs open and fair behavior of life for all living things to adapt with its moderation.

Much offensive action to local values or wisdom will bring disaster for living things. The local wisdom needs to be respected and well-maintained. These values are seen as way of life of the local peoples in doing their daily activities. It may unfamiliar for the foreigner. At the same time, the foreigner must also respect and mingle politely. Contradictive behavior will bring more uneasiness for their own life that could affect others.

Many camouflage based on unilateral benefit orientation will harden social interaction with their natural environment that contain much higher noble values. The natural way has given more lessons through their charm and originality. The contradiction will have potential to be wider since their feeling is unpleasant.

These efforts  seem more challenging due to some vested interest of  in geo political, security or economy. It is surely not easy task to begin without any introduction and stable communication to each other’s, especially in the new era of technology. This development should bring much contribution to the level of welfare of the peoples of the region. In this regards, other countries in this region must also help to each other’s.

Trying to realize this situation, as citizen as Archipelagic states that contain many aspects of local wisdom, I am being called to participate to share this perspective to support human dignity, peace and  sustainable environment in the world that may now being threaten.

This  character of defending the right and fight for injustice also inherited by  the Indonesian founding fathers or mothers. One of the example events is when the founding father and mother to get independence from foreign occupation  that at the beginning come to trading but then change to master the land. This effort were gain  through many diplomacy or even by physical struggle.

The contradiction situation is sometime hidden in human civilization. This situation need more economical bargain with the complementarity approach. Each side  must prepare with their respective best model or practices, moderation and respect local values/wisdom. No such approach will be truly in lining with sustainability without respecting local wisdom and sharing best practices to each other. The step may be begun with reminding to each other that we are interconnected with global human civilization that coloring diversified culture of the world.

The above issue may seem as unfinished job that may not be forgotten for all. Meanwhile peoples should respect differences on many aspects. As God Almighty remind us that issue is considered as Rahmatan/barokah. To grasp these values, modesty should prevail. Then, modesty will bring back many good things for all. The interactions give positive impacts to surrounding.

I personally hope and open to bridge and develop good values that inherited in our respective regions for better life for today and tomorrow. We are all human being and we are all God creation that being given task by the Creator of Universe to share ability (knowledge, skill, technology) and cooperate for good that respect humanity and sustainable environment as the basic chain of people’s interactions.

We should believe that human being is the best creation of God Almighty completed by feeling, mind and intention strength to keep sustainability of between peoples and environment. Let us respect peace, local values/wisdom with moderation approach,  and work hand in hand to make our regions become festive for good in all aspects of life.
