Gaza, MINA — Ishara, a monitoring platform affiliated with Palestinian resistance groups, reported increased Israeli surveillance drone activity over several areas of the Gaza Strip late Thursday.
According to the platform, aerial monitoring began at around 9:30 p.m. local time over Khan Younis, where multiple Israeli reconnaissance drones were observed conducting surveillance flights, Quds Press reported Friday.
At approximately 9:35 p.m., a Hermes 450 drone was detected flying over the western airspace of Gaza City province. Minutes later, at 9:38 p.m., additional Israeli surveillance aircraft were reported entering the western airspace above the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.
Ishara said the drone movements appeared to be part of ongoing Israeli intelligence-gathering operations across the enclave.
