Nationalism Message From Stefano Lilipaly Ahead of the AFF Cup finals

Pakansari, Bogor, 14 Rabiul Awwal 1438/14 December 2016 (MINA) – Indonesian national team midfielder, Stefano Lilipaly, asking for prayers and support to all the people of Indonesia.

Indonesian national team (PSSI) will compete against Thailand in the first leg of 2016 AFF Suzuki Cup finals in Pakansari Stadium, Wednesday (14/12/2016).

In a video uploaded on the PSSI official twitter, Stefano conveys a message of nationalism. In his message, he said that the unity of Indonesia is everything.

“I am Stefano Lilipaly and I am an Indonesian. My father is an Ambonese and my mother is hailing from the Netherlands. We come from different places, but the origin of us is not important, because our mission is only one, that gives pride to Indonesia,” bolaku.com quoted as saying the footballer who plays for Telstar, a second division Dutch club.

The same message was delivered by Andik Vermansyah.

According to him, the key of the national team success to reach the final of the AFF Cup is because they respect among team members.

“Mutual respect and also always keeping manners. The team is able to unite where we came from. The differences unite us so that Indonesia is expected to become a champion,” he said. (T/R07/R01)
