MER-C TO ADD VOLUNTEERS FOR INDONESIAN HOSPITAL DEVELOPMENT IN GAZA

       Bogor, 13 Rajab 1434/23 May 2013 (MINA) –  Medical Emergency Rescue Committee (MER-C) in cooperation with Al-Fatah boarding school is holding volunteers selection who will be dispatched to the Gaza Strip, Palestine, pursuing development of Indonesian Hospital (RSI) second stage.

       This time MER-C team prepared 11 volunteers to do mechanical electrical of the hospital. “We intend all for Allah SWT, we do not aim except only from Allah,” Nur Ikhwan Abadi, coordinator of Mer-C  volunteers selection while giving briefing to the participants at Al-Fatah boarding school, Wednesday (22/5).

       Meanwhile, the Presidium of MER-C, dr. Joserizal Jurnalis said the departure of 11 volunteers is scheduled before Ramadhan this year.

       “Our commitment is clear that RSI Gaza as a sign of brotherhood from Indonesia, which must be dealt with,” Joserizal told Mi’raj News Agency (MINA) in Jakarta.

       Joserizal expects the construction to be completed this year and its operational will be started by mid next year.

       “…..Inshaallah it is expected  to be operated in the middle of next year,” he added.

       Previously, MER-C dispatched a volunteer, Ir. Edy Wahyudi to supervise the second phase construction  of RSI. Edy is now focusing on its architecture and mechanical electrical.

        He went to Gaza with three other volunteers from Al-Fatah boarding school  (M. Sholeh Iskandar, Reza Kurniawan and Muqorrobin Al-Fikri), which will join the program Tahfidzul Quran Tajul Waqar in Ma’had Tahfidzul Quranul Waqar Karim was Sunnah Gaza.

        In this development project of RSI, there has been 33 Indonesian volunteers which has various skill , ranging from masons, electricians, water expert, students, and  engineers. All volunteers  came from Al-Fatah Boarding school in Cileungsi, Bogor, West Java as MER-C’s partner since 2009. (L/P05/P03)
