March in Bethlehem to Support Hungger-Strikers in Israeli Jails

Bethlehem, 3 Dzulhijjah 1437/5 September 2016 (MINA) – A march was staged on Monday by Palestinian human rights groups in Bethlehem province in solidarity with the Palestinian hunger-strikers in Israeli jails.

The march, launched by advocates of prisoners’ rights, kicked off from central Bethlehem and reached the city’s northern flashpoints, The Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reported.

Parents and relatives of Palestinian hunger-strikers along with students and ex-prisoners joined the march.

Hunger-striking brothers Muhammad and Mahmoud al-Balboul have been starving in Israeli lock-ups for 65 days running.

Prisoner Malek al-Kadhi has been on a hunger-strike for the 55th consecutive day.(T/P008/R07)
