Jordan Refuses New Israeli Airport near Its Border

Amman, MINA – The Jordanian government protested the opening of a new Israeli airport near his border.

The Ramon International Airport located at 18 kilometers south of Eila City, Israel. It is only a few kilometers from the Jordanian border.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will officially inaugurate the new airport on Monday, Anadolu Agency (AA) reported quoted by MINA.

On the other hand, Amman stated that the location of the new Israeli airport violated his air sovereignty.

According to Al-Mamlaka Television, Jordanian authorities have filed complaints with international agencies regarding Israeli airports, without giving further details.

Until now, there are no official comment from the Israeli authorities regarding to the report. (T/Sj/P2)
