JEWISH ILLEGAL SETTLERS ATTACK PALESTINIAN SHEPPERD AND UPROOT OLIVE TREES

      Nablus, 28 Rabiul Akhir 1434/10 March 2013 (MINA) – A group of Jewish illegal settlers attacked a shepherd at north of Nablus and killed dozens of sheep, a Palestinian official said on Friday (8/3).

       Ghassan Daghlas, Palestinian official who is responsible of overseeing the Jewish activities in nort Nablus told Ma’an news agency as quoted by Mi’raj News Agency (MINA) that the Jews came from Aad settlement and attacked a shepherd named Kamal al-Nasan near his village in Al-Mughayyir.

       “The Jews came and directly attacked al Nasan that cause him serious injury. They also slaughtered sheeps. Dozens sheep death in place due to their attacks, “said Daghlas.

       The settlers also uprooted more than 120 olive trees belong to Palestinians after the incident.

        “There are 120 olive trees were toppled by the settlers. The garden they attack belong to As Sawiya residents, “added Daghlas.

         Muhammad Jazi and Hamdi Jazi are the most bear losses due to the damage. Both are As Sawiya villagers, Nablus.

        “These accident have repeatedly occurred. They always spoil our fields by uprooting olive trees,” said Mohammad Jazi.

          Not only that, the settlers also wrote racist slogans in along the village road. They did it on a wall and pathways.

          The leader of Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) Qais Abdel Karim condemned the attack. “The act is full of racism that will further lead to resentment and hostility among Palestinians toward Israelis,” said Abdel Karim.

         “We must unite to defend our land before Israel destroy our crops and control of our land.” Israeli people have no right to do that and they do it to spread the terror so that we leave this homeland, “said Karim who is also called Abu Leila .

         “The crimes of the settlers were often escape media spotlight. There is no law in Israel that led them for the crimes they committed. We hope that the international community knows this accidents and condemn their evil deeds which they do, “he added. (T/P04/E1)
