Jasa Raharja Submits Compensation to 100 Victims of Lion Air Crash

Jakarta, MINA – Jasa Raharja Insurance company has handed over compensation to 100  heirs of victims  of Lion Air Crash on 21 November.

“For passengers identified by the National Police Headquarters ‘Disaster Victim Identification’, we immediately handed over compensation rights to legitimate heirs,” Jasa Raharja President Director Budi Rahardjo said in a written statement in Jakarta on Wednesday.

The heirs’ data are for Bangka Belitung as many as 56, Banten 35, Bengkulu one, Jakarta 40, West Java 26, Jambi one, Central Java eight, East Java five, East Kalimantan one, Lampung three, Sumatera Selatan five, Sumatra Barat four, North Sumatra two and Central Sulawesi one.

“After receiving 188 complete data on inheritance, it is expected that all submissions can be carried out in the near future,” said Budi.

The Lion Air aircraft with flight number JT610 PK-LQP crashed in the sea waters north of Karawang on October 29. Based on the manifest from the authorities, the aircraft carried 189 people (including eight crew members).
