Japan Provides School Development Assistance in Kediri, East Java

Surabaya, MINA – Japanese government provides educational grants in the form of the school building construction for Islamic School of Nasyiatul Mubtadiin Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI)  worth 920 million rupiah in Kediri Regency, East Java, Indonesia.

“Through this grant assistance, the local community can fulfill basic needs for human beings and improve the welfare of regions receiving grant assistance, “said Japanese Consul General in Surabaya, Masaki Tani when signing the contract grant assistance in Surabaya on Friday.

Masaki said, this assistance shows the determination of the Japanese Government in contributing to the field of human security in Indonesia, especially in East Java.

For that,  he hoped that the provision of assistance for construction of school building which also coincides with the 60th anniversary of Japanese diplomatic relations and Indonesia can be a good momentum to strengthen relation between two countries.

“Hopefully this assistance will be useful to support the learning process at the school,” he said.

Islamic School MI Nasyiatul Mubtadiin located in Duwet village, Wates sub-district or around 30 kilo meters from the center of Kediri Regency. (T/Sj)/RS5
