Jenin, MINA – The Israeli occupation army ordered eight Palestinian families living near the Jenin refugee camp in the northern West Bank to evacuate their homes on Wednesday evening, Palinfo reported.

This comes as Israel’s campaign of demolition and displacement in Jenin city and its refugee camp has entered its 45th day.

According to local sources, the Israeli army used drones to order the families in the al-Jaberiyat neighborhood near Jenin camp to leave their homes in order to use them as military posts.

The Israeli army gave the families until 6:00 pm today to leave their homes and ordered them not to return to their homes.

Since the start of its military aggression in the northern West Bank, the Israeli army has used several houses and buildings facing Jenin camp as military barracks.

The Israeli occupation army has expelled nearly 20,000 Palestinians from the Jenin camp, forcing them to live in shelters and relatives’ homes.

The Israeli military also continues to destroy the remaining roads, homes and facilities in the camp. []
