ISRAELI FORCES KIDNAPPED 31 YOUTHS IN SECOND HALF OF FEBRUARY

Ramallah, 4 Jumadil Awwal 1435/5 March 2014 (MINA) – Israeli forces kidnapped 31 Palestinian children during the second half of February, in addition to injuring several others, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Information.
 
In a report, the ministry recorded the details of the kidnapping of 31 Palestinians between the ages of 13 and 18 in the Palestinian territories between Feb. 16 and Feb 26.
 
According to the PA Ministry of Prisoners’ affairs, there are 187 Palestinians under the age of 18 currently held in Israeli jails, Al-Qassam quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.
 
Some 5,200 Palestinians were being held in Israeli jails as of October 2013, according to the Palestinian Authority’s Ministry of Prisoners’ Affairs. Another 1,280 are in Israeli prisons for being inside the 48 occupied territories without permits.
 
Since 1967, more than 650,000 Palestinians have been kidnapped by Israeli occupation, representing 20 percent of the total population and 40 percent of all males in the occupied territories. – Israeli forces kidnapped 31 Palestinian children during the second half of February, in addition to injuring several others, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Information.
