West Bank, MINA – Israeli occupation forces conducted a series of overnight and Sunday morning raids across the West Bank, kidnaped at least 13 Palestinians and sparking armed clashes in Nablus.
According to local sources, five young men were taken from their homes in Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem, after soldiers ransacked the properties. Three others were arrested in Husan town, west of Bethlehem, and three more from Qaffin town in Tulkarem. Additional arrests were reported in Beitunia (Ramallah) and Susiya village south of Hebron (al-Khalil), where soldiers also seized a vehicle and assaulted a resident.
In the Old City of Nablus, armed clashes erupted between Israeli forces and Palestinian resistance fighters during a raid. One young man was reportedly arrested in the operation. A medical source in Nablus also reported that a Palestinian family narrowly survived after their car came under Israeli fire in the Old City.
Separately, extremist Jewish settlers grazed their livestock near Palestinian homes in Khirbet Umm al-Khair and entered Khirbet al-Markaz, actions that spread fear among local families. The raids and violence occur against a backdrop of rising tensions and a systematic campaign of arrests and home demolitions across the occupied territory.[]
