Al-Quds, MINA – Israeli occupation authorities issued expulsion orders on Tuesday, banning two Jerusalem residents from entering the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound for a renewable one-week period. Currently, Israeli forces carried out raids and search operations in the Silwan neighborhood of occupied jerusalem/">East Jerusalem.
According to the Jerusalem Governorate, the targeted individuals are Qaqaa’ Bikayrat and former prisoner Mohammed Abu al-Hamam, both from Silwan. The governorate condemned the decision as part of an ongoing Israeli policy aimed at restricting Palestinian worship and access to holy sites in occupied Jerusalem.
Earlier on Tuesday, large numbers of Israeli forces stormed Silwan, deploying across several neighborhoods and taking positions on rooftops in the Bir Ayyub area.
The Wadi Hilweh Information Center reported that troops raided construction supply stores, conducted identity checks on workers, and established traffic checkpoints on Bir Ayyub and Ain Street, issuing fines to vehicles in the area.[]
