In Palestinian Teachers Day: 120 Teachers Are In Occupation Jails

       Gaza, 02 Shafar 1434/15 December 2012 (Qassam/MINA) –  Ahrar center for prisoners studies and human rights asked Palestinian teachers association and the Ministry of Education in Teacher’s Day to devote attention to the teacher Palestinian prisoner more.

       Fuad Al-Khuffash, the director of the center said that the teachers are one of the most groups whose members entered the Israeli occupation prisons, and that teachers were leaders in the Palestinian struggle along our history.”

      Khuffash added: “It is the duty of all to honor the teachers, who have provided and continue to provide, they fondle men on national tournament, who struck examples in patience, through steadfastness in the investigation and prisons.

        Khuffash also said that the Israeli occupation deliberately targets this class of Palestinian society by arresting because of their importance, and a major role in the upbringing of generations without giving them any immunity value, in one day occupation forces arrested Palestinian Minister of Education, Dr. Nasser al-Shaer in Nablus.

       An example of targeting the teachers and Palestinian professors, Khuffash said about teacher Wael Hashash sufferings, from the city of Nablus, who was arrested from his school in the end of last year, and was released after 10 months to be arrested again after a month of release.

       As for this category of Palestinian society great importance, Khuffash asked on the Palestinian teachers day both the Ministry of Education, and the Palestinian teachers association to give great importance to the teachers.

       North mention that about 120 teachers are  now in Israeli jails, who were kidnapped by the occupation in front of their students and thrown into prisons.(T/R-022/R-006)
