Factions: The Intifada Will Continue Until Achievement Of Its Goals

Gaza, 21 Rabi’ul Akhir 1437/1 February 2016 (MINA) – Palestinian national and Islamic factions in Gaza affirmed their support for the Jerusalem Intifada and the development of its methods until the achievement of its goals.

The factions called on the Palestinian Authority to back it up politically and to protect the families of martyrs, The Palestinian Information Center (PIC) quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA).

The Hamas leader Ismail Radwan, in a statement on behalf of the factions on “the National Day to Support Intifada” marked on Saturday, called on the Palestinians in the West Bank to form a united field leadership to lead the uprising.

He also called on Muslim and Arab countries to support the Palestinian people and their ongoing intifada, which broke out in protest against the Israeli occupation, at the political, financial, spiritual, and media levels.

The Palestinian factions as well refused the racist resolutions of the Israeli occupation, Radwan underlined.

For his part, Mohammad Baraka, head of the higher follow up committee of the affairs of Arabs in 1948 Occupied Palestine, hailed the Palestinian model of confronting occupation.(T/P008/R07)
