Chicago, MINA – The city of Chicago witnessed a demonstration on Saturday night against a controversial law recently passed by the Israeli Knesset that permits the execution of Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails, according to Wafa.
Activists and supporters of the Palestinian cause gathered carrying banners condemning the legislation, which they described as a serious escalation and a blatant violation of international human rights standards. Protesters called on the international community to act swiftly to halt the measure before it can be implemented.
Demonstrators emphasized the urgent need to increase political pressure, intensify media campaigns, and amplify social media messaging in order to mobilize American public opinion. They also urged citizens to contact their congressional representatives and demand the law’s immediate repeal.[]
