AMERICAN JEWS REJECT AIPAC IN METRO WASHINGTON

       Washington, 21 Rabiul Akhir 1434/3 March 2013 (MINA) – An organisation  of American Jewish Committee stated their rejection on the arrival for the American- Israel Lobby Commette (AIPAC) in Metro Washington advertisements .

       The Billboard advertisement appeared in the main subway station in downtown of Washington DC featuring the face of American Jews said  boldly that AIPAC will not talk to us. “Most Americans are pro-peace Jews. While AIPAC likes the war, “the ad says.
        There are about 100 billboards advertising in the transit area.  The word “AIPAC is not going to talk to American Jews.” shows that Israel’s relations with the Jews in America are not in harmony.

        Rebecca Vilkomerson,   an executive director of Jewish Voice for Peace, said: “AIPAC is the agency in charge of Israel lobbying to American foreign policy. They aim is to gain political support and funding as much as possible from the United States of  America. They do not want to find peace but waging war with other nations. “

       According to Russia Today reports monitored by Mi’raj News Agency (MINA),  American Jews have a long time felt disappointed with the Tel Aviv government’s policy in particular to the problem of Gaza and the occupation of Palestine that never reached an agreement. It makes American Jews feel increasingly alienated to Israel.
        “Do not think that we are the AIPAC partner again? Did they forget that once we were fighting them with a budget of U.S. funds which flowing into Israeli pockets ?, “said the American Jewish spokesman.
        AIPAC  is an institution set up by Israel to conduct political lobby in United States. The ultimate goal is for Israel to continue to receive political support and financial assistance from the U.S. government for  the Zionis’ existence in the Middle East.

        For decades,  a lot of U.S government aid was given to Israel. Each year, the U.S. government aid pouring fresh funds to Israel at least $ 760 million. The fund does not include military aid of $ 3 billion.

        On Friday (1/3), the U.S. President Barack Obama at a meeting of parliament said that Wahington will not disburse funds to Israel in 2013.

        The president stated during the American economy crisis has not recovered, the government will not give money to the Jewish state. The U.S. government is currently facing massive layoffs, unemployment continues to rise and the fall of U.S. dollar value is the main cause of the crisis in America.

        Obama also stated in the parliament meeting that his government must now have the struggle to repay debt has reached U.S. $ 16.6 trillion. (T/P04/E1)
