Riyadh, 6 Dzulhijjah 1437/8 September 2016 (MINA) – Saudi Arabia is set to impose a compulsory drugs test as a precondition for men, mainly foreigners, who want to get married to Saudi women.

According to the Saudi newspaper Okaz, this would reduce the embarrassment should the women or their families want such a test to take place, Middle East Monitor (MEMO) reported, Thursday (8/9).

The Saudi newspaper noted that there had been official and non-official calls for taking such a decision which had been a major cause for family disputes that led to divorce.
