Jakarta, 28 Safar 1436/21 December 2014 (MINA) – Dozens of Indonesian put flowers in front of the Pakistan embassy in Jakarta. It was a condolence for the 141 victims in Peshawar Pakistan attack a few days ago.

By wearing all-white clothes, they performed a silent action at the embassy in the rain condition on Friday night.

Pakistan Ambassador to Indonesia Attiya Mahmoud deplored the tragedythat killed 132 students and nine teachers at the Army School.

According to him, the attack did not represent the teachings of Islam which gives mercy for all creatures (rahmatan lil alamin).

Meanwhile, The defence Attaché Embassy of Pakistan in Jakarta, Colonel Shahid, claimed that Pakistan have been trying to negotiate with the Taliban.

According to Shahid, since January 2014 Taliban has been carrying out attacks during the negotiations.

“Starting from January, the Government of Pakistan began negotiating with the Taliban because the government want to resolved this problem through negotiation. However; It is difficult to be realized, because the group Tahrek e Taliban (TPP) is not one group. Taliban consists of many groups that aim to overthrow the Government of Pakistan, “said Colonel Shahid, at the Pakistan Embassy in Jakarta.

So far, the Afghan Taliban denied relating to the incident. (L/P009/R03)
