Cairo, 29 Rajab 1435/28 Mei 2014 (MINA) –  Egyptians simultaneously vote to decide their president after the  ousting of the first  freely elected government,   where Mohamed Morsi as president, on July 2013.

This afternoon election commission reminded the public participation approaching six million on the first day of the elections which began at nine o’clock this morning. Most participation followed women and elections will end tomorrow.

According electoral institutions, approximately 53 million people in Egypt have the right vote to determine the next president. Six Million released data from Egyptian government that showed only 12 % of the overall sound should choose.

However, this figure may increase as the first day of voting will be closed five hours. The Egyptian government provides 352 polling centers and about 14 thousand more to accommodate the sound.

Other outside Cairo, tight security at the polling place in several governorates. Many police and soldiers stationed in the Nile Delta Gharbiya, Sharqiya and Fayoum, all north of the capital and placed roadblocks along the way to the polls, closing the road traffic. (L/K04/Fauziah)
