Pink Spiders vs. Red Sparks: 3-0, A Tense Second Set

Incheon, MINA – The Incheon Pink Spiders hosted the Daejeon JungKwanJang Red Sparks in a 2026/27 Korean V-League volleyball match on Wednesday (Nov 4).

In the match held at the Incheon Samsan World Gymnasium, the Pink Spiders secured a 3-0 victory (25-20, 29-27, 25-19) over the Red Sparks.

Pink Spiders outside hitter Yensy Kindelan emerged as the top scorer, contributing 22 points.

First Set

The Pink Spiders opened the match by taking a 13-8 lead, which they later extended to 20-11.

Yensy Kindelan and her teammates cruised to a 25-20 win after a service error by Yeum Hye-seon halted a scoring streak by the Red Sparks. The Pink Spiders took a 1-0 lead in the match.

Second Set

The Red Sparks showed signs of a comeback early in the second set, fueled by a strong performance from Zhong Hui, leading 8-5 at the first technical timeout.

The Pink Spiders managed to level the score at 10-10, but the Red Sparks pulled ahead again with three consecutive points, reaching 13-10.

A string of points from the Pink Spiders allowed the hosts to tie the game once more at 18-18.

From there, a fierce battle ensued, with both teams trading points until the set reached a deuce at 24-24. After four deuce situations, the Pink Spiders ultimately clinched the second set, 29-27.

The Pink Spiders extended their lead to 2-0.

Third Set

In this set, the Pink Spiders took an early 10-6 lead, later extending it to 19-17.

Ultimately, it was a straightforward path for Yensy Kindelan and her squad to secure the third set, 25-19, sealing a 3-0 victory.

This win marks the Pink Spiders’ second victory in as many matches. Pink Spiden temporarily tops the standings with 6 points. []
