Semarang, MINA – Java United FC hosted Bhayangkara Presisi Lampung FC in the eighth week of the 2026/27 BRI Super League on Friday afternoon.

Playing at Jatidiri Stadium in Semarang, Java United took an early lead in the first half. Yakob Sayuri (12) converted a clever pass from Ciro Alves (7) into a goal in the 11th minute.

The 1-0 scoreline held until halftime.

In the 62nd minute, Java United coach Fabio Lefundes brought off Fahreza Sudin (88) and replaced him with Ridho Syuhada (56).

In the 67th minute, a header from Ridho Syuhada was gathered by goalkeeper Fahri (71).

In the 77th minute, a golden opportunity—a cross from Made Andhika (33) in front of the Java United goal—went unconverted by Matias Ocampo (99), whose header sailed just over the crossbar.

In the 80th minute, Ciro Alves was substituted for Lukas Brambilla (10).

In the 82nd minute, Moussa Sidibe (17) fired a shot toward the top corner of the Java United goal, but goalkeeper Jorge Meurer (1) pulled off a brilliant flying save to deny Bhayangkara a goal.

A minute later, it was Ridho Syuhada’s (56) turn to take a shot toward the far post of the Bhayangkara goal, forcing goalkeeper Fahri to dive and parry the ball away.

In the 88th minute, Gustavo Almeida (70) danced inside the penalty box, navigating past several Bhayangkara defenders. After spinning around, Almeida laid the ball off to Brambilla, who was positioned behind the opposing players.

GOAL! The players, who had assumed Brambilla was standing still, watched as he fired the ball freely into the net.

A VAR review confirmed that Brambilla was onside.

The score became 2-0 in favor of Java United.

The score remained unchanged when the referee blew the final whistle.

This victory moves Java United up to 10th place in the current standings, while Bhayangkara sits in 8th. []
