Islamic Christian Authority Warns of Israel’s Judaization in Al-Quds

Al-Quds, MINA – The Islamic Christian Authority for Patronizing Jerusalem and Holy Sites has warned that the Israeli occupation authority are working on changing the Arab character and identity of Jerusalem and Judaizing it.

“The ferocious campaign that is being waged by the occupation authorities and Israeli extremist religious groups against the Aqsa Mosque and worshipers nowadays has clear indications that reflect an increase in the Israeli violations and measures aimed at changing the character of the Arab City of Jerusalem through changing its population structure,” Hanna Issa, secretary-general of the Islamic Christian Authority, said in a statement.

According to PIC, Issa accused Israel of practicing settler colonialism in the occupied Palestinian territories, including Jerusalem which he said has a special religious status for Muslims, Christians and Jews, affirming that the international law prohibits settler colonialism.

He stressed the need for international sanctions on Israel to curb it from persisting in its aggression against Jerusalem, its Palestinian natives and its Islamic and Christian holy sites.(T/R04/P2)
